Setlists

Create, organize, and manage your setlists. Drag songs around, add sections, and share with your band.

Creating a Setlist

There are two ways to create a new setlist:

a) Scan

Upload a photo or PDF of an existing setlist. The AI recognizes songs automatically, matches them with streaming data, and builds a complete setlist for you.

b) Manual

Click "New Setlist", then add songs from your library or via search. Name your setlist — songs are ordered by position.

You can combine both approaches: scan an existing list and then add more songs manually afterward.

Editing a Setlist

Every setlist is fully editable:

  1. 1

    Reorder songs

Drag and drop songs to rearrange them. Use the grip handle () on the left side of each song.
  2. 2

    Remove songs

Open the three-dot menu () on a song card and select "Remove Song". An undo toast appears briefly in case you change your mind.
  3. 3

    Add songs inline

Add more songs directly within the setlist — search or pick from your library.
  4. 4

    Rename the setlist

Click the setlist title to edit it inline.
Duplicate songs are allowed — sometimes you play the same song in different sets.

Dividers & Sections

Add dividers between songs to mark sets or sections. Great for multi-set gigs.

Types

Line — A simple visual separator between songs.

Text — A labeled divider, e.g. "Encore" or "Break".

Banner — A colored header for sets or sections. Customize the color to your liking.

Perfect for multi-set gigs: mark "Set 1", "Set 2", and "Encore" with colored banners so the whole band stays on the same page.

Song Cards

Each song in a setlist is displayed as a card showing:

  1. 1

    Basic information

Artwork (or song number if no artwork is available), title, artist, and streaming links (visible on desktop, hidden on mobile).
  2. 2

    Library info

Songs added from your library show a small "from Library" label with key and BPM inline, if available.
  3. 3

    Rehearsal status indicator

In a band context, a colored right edge shows the rehearsal status — green (ready), orange (needs practice), or blue (new). Click the colored edge to cycle through statuses.

Click the three-dot menu () on a song card to access actions like "Edit Performance Data", "Add Song Here", "Find Alternative", or "Remove Song".

Performance Data per Song

Each song in a setlist can have override values for:

  1. 1

    BPM

The tempo of the song for this setlist.
  2. 2

    Key

The key you play the song in.
  3. 3

    Capo

    Capo position for guitarists.
  4. 4

    Transpose

    Transposition in semitones.
  5. 5

    Time Signature

    E.g. 4/4, 3/4, 6/8.
  6. 6

    Scroll Speed

    Scroll speed for Gig Mode.

These values override the library defaults for this setlist only. The same song can have different settings in different setlists.

Perfect for cover bands who play songs in different keys for different gigs.

Setlist Duration

Total duration is shown in the subtitle of each setlist card, alongside the song count and last-updated date, e.g. "17 songs · Mar 23 · 1h 12 min". This is calculated from the stored song durations.

Songs without a known duration are skipped in the calculation.

Sharing & Collaboration

Band setlists are automatically shared with all band members.

  1. 1

    Realtime notifications

When another band member makes changes, a banner appears at the top of the expanded setlist. Click "Reload" to pull in the latest version.
  2. 2

    Conflict detection on save

If someone else saved changes while you were editing, a conflict dialog appears when you save. You can choose to reload the latest version or force-save your changes.
  3. 3

    Activity log (band page)

The band detail page includes an activity log that tracks who changed what and when. This log is not shown on individual setlist cards.
Changes to shared setlists are immediately visible to all band members. Coordinate major restructuring with your band beforehand.
